Child safety week launches on Monday 3rd June with the theme Safety. Sorted! Child safety week is the Child Accident Prevention Trust’s (CAPT) community education campaign. The aim of child safety week is to reach as many families as possible with important safety advice – CAPT need your help!
The Blackburn with Darwen, Blackpool and Lancashire Child Death Overview Panel will be raising awareness of key messages and sharing resources throughout Child Safety Week. You can get involved by helping to spread the word on social media using the hashtag #ChildSafetyWeek
Please visit the CAPT resource centre and get ready for child safety week. You can find free fact sheets and printed resources to give out to families, activity sheets to keep children engaged or videos and session plans to help you run a mini workshop.
